Clay County Animal Rescue & ShelterAustralian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat) : : Female (not spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
This sweet shy heeler was taken to an elderly couple's home a couple of years ago by a young man who asked them to take care of her for a little while. Two years later, they realized he was never going to come get his dog. They moved to c
loser to a busy road and worried she'd get hit. They didn't want to tie or chain her and hope we can find her a home of her own. She is good with the farm animals. She liked to herd the ducks to the pond and back, but didn't hurt them. We will get her HW tested and spayed as soon as next week. She is terrified at the shelter and we would like to get her out ASAP!
